Beer Hund

A dog-friendly brewery where cold craft beer meets open trails, shady creeks, and happy pups

Brewed with German tradition. Born in Texas.

Our Story

Where Bark Meets Brew

Rey and Cersei — Beer Hund brewery dogs

Beer Hund was born from a simple idea: the best moments in life involve good beer, good dogs, and the great outdoors. Nestled in the rolling hills of Texas Hill Country, our brewery sits on a sprawling property where live oaks shade a winding creek and the horizon stretches for miles.

Inspired by German brewing tradition and the rugged spirit of the Texas frontier, we set out to create a place where craft beer is brewed with precision and enjoyed with abandon. Where your dog runs free while you sip something cold under an endless sky.

Five friends — Nathan, Alan, Justin, Danielle, and JJ — turned a shared dream into reality: a mixed-use space where the taproom spills into the outdoors, where sunny meadows meet shady groves, and where every visit feels like coming home.

The Experience

Dog Park & Trails

Off-Leash Park

Acres of fenced, open meadow where your pup can run free. Rolling terrain, natural shade from mature live oaks, and water stations throughout.

On-Leash Trails

Scenic walking paths wind through wooded groves and along the creek. Perfect for a peaceful stroll with your leashed companion before settling in for a beer.

Creek Access

A natural limestone creek runs through the property — the perfect spot for dogs to splash and cool off on warm Texas days. Shallow and safe for all breeds.

"Bring your best friend. We'll have a cold one waiting for you both."

The Venue

Sun, Shade & Cold Beer

Our venue is a mixed-use outdoor space designed for all-day comfort. Sunny meadows for those who want to soak it in. Shady pavilions beneath towering live oaks for when you need a break from the Texas heat.

Communal tables, fire pits for cool evenings, and a taproom that opens wide to the surrounding landscape. The creek murmurs nearby. The Hill Country stretches out before you. It's the kind of place where you lose track of time — in the best way.
